Stress Echo Workshop Milton Keynes

Dr. Attila Kardos from Milton Keynes University Hospital established the world’s very first stress echo interpretation course in November.

It taught attendees to develop their skills in a uniform reporting of stress echocardiography over a 5 days intensive theory and workstation based training to improve reputation and reliability of reporting. The stress echo analysis was performed on TOMTEC’s specialized echo software platform. This course has been designed for established cardiologists, cardiologists in training and advanced sonographers from all over the UK and from Europe.
This skill acquisition has been a gap in the training market that the UK authorities as well as International Societies, i.e. European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, American Echo Society, has long considered.

We secured 4 accreditation points by the British Society of Echocardiography and the endorsement by the EACVI/ESC.

There was a uniform agreement that the course was well conducted, and highly recommended for others.

We would like to express our sincere thanks for the great collaboration and the high number of participants.

On the back of this success and the high demand we are planning future courses on  a regular basis.
