Virtual Workshop Series September 2021

Diagnosing Severe Aortic Stenosis and It‘s Subtypes: A Case-Based Approach to Discrepancies in Grading Aortic Stenosis Severity

This workshop will review the echocardiographic findings of severe aortic stenosis.
Interactive cases will then illustrate how to approach apparent discrepancies in Doppler gradient and valve area by integrating LVEF and LV stroke volume:

  • low flow low gradient aortic stenosis
  • paradoxic low flow low gradient aortic stenosis
  • mixed aortic valve disease
