TOMTEC GOES MIDDLE EAST WITH STRESS ECHO INTERPRETATION COURSE

After the positive feedback from the attendees of our first virtual Stress Echo Interpretation Course last year for the European countries, where the stability and reliability of TTZ had been proven, we are happy to announce that we repeated successfully this format in cooperation with Medical Training Consultancy for the Middle East region from February 23 to 27, 2021. This 5 day theory and web based reporting course of at least 80 cases provided an insight in developing skills in reporting stress echo primarily for ischaemia and viability detection but also including non-ischaemia stress testing in valvular heart disease. The lectures over the 5 days course provided theoretical and practical tutorials and web-based online image analysis.

Our well-practiced colleagues, who already proved their skills at the last SEIC, supported Prof. Attila Kardos - accompanied by Dr. Harald Becher from Canada as guest speaker - again this time and thus ensured a smooth course flow with maximum interactivity and without interruptions.

The SEIC 2021 Middle East has been endorsed by the British Society of Echocardiography and approved for 15 BSE points.

The participants were attending this 5-days remote training from Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, and Qatar. Furthermore we could welcome “observers” from Great Britain, Canada, Singapur and Romania.

Watch out for our next virtual workshops. Dates are available on the TOMTEC ACADEMY Site and are permanently updated.
