The EuroEcho congress (6-9 December) in Lisbon was quite vivid, next to lots of visits at our booth, we had 4 workshops organized at the Imaging Campus on Thursday. The presentations of Prof. Knebel “Cardiac Chamber Quantification – according to the Guidelines” and of Prof. Dr. Binder “Basic to Advanced Image Analysis and Quantification in Echocardiography – Including Speckle-Tracking” filled the room quickly, the atmosphere was very industrious and the participants were eager to learn more about the specific topics and the software. The majority of them were new users of TOMTEC, so the hands-on sessions helped them to get a first practical impression of the software advantages.

The VR demo was a people magnet as usual – as soon as passerbys observed the 3D activities on the big screen, they were curious to try on the glasses and wild discussions about its future use in medical technology started promptly.
