TOMTEC GAINS BIG SUCCESS IN DIGITALIZATION OF MARKETING

1st virtual Stress Echo Interpretation Course with TOMTEC ZERO

For the first time in the history of “Stress Echo Interpretation Course" the course was hold totally virtual running on our TOMTEC ZERO platform enabeling all attendees analyzing their data on our REPORTING application at the same time!

The course director, Prof. Attila Kardos, Milton Keynes Hospital, was supported behind the scenes by three TOMTEC moderators answering technical queries in the meeting chat immediately, as well as by two further TOMTEC specialists who were responsible for the technical support of TOMTEC ZERO. This allowed us to ensure a smooth course flow with maximum interactivity and without interruptions.

The 5-days course started Monday morning with a half-day lecture session by Prof. Kardos and Dr. Harald Becher from Canada as guest speaker. Followed by an introduction of our web based reporting in TOMEC ZERO with an interactive training session. Every evening the participants received 20 cases for individual reporting and logbook generation that have been discussed with the faculty the next day in joint interactive online reviews.

Within the course the attendees learned how to interpretate 80 cases and receive an insight in developing skills in reporting stress echo primarily for ischaemia ending with an exam on Friday afternoon.

The SEIC 2020 course has been endorsed by the British Society of Echocardiography and approved for 15 BSE points and by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 30 CPD credits.

The participants were attending this 5-days remote training from their homes in Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, France, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary, Greece and United Emirates.
