How can I backup my system in Image-Arena 3.0/ 4.X?

• Open the SQL Server Manager Studio Express. Do a right mouse-click to the Database (ImageArena30), click to task and backup.
• Stop the services (how to get to the services see “No connection to server”):
  • TomTec IMProof Service (TomTec Dicom Service/ TomTec StudyTaskService will be stopped with the IMProof)
  • MSSQL$IMAGEARENA30
• Find the path of your database (Default “C:\Image Arena 3\Database”) and copy the TomTec_log.ldf
and TomTec.mdf to another folder (Default “D:\backup”)
> Restart the services
• For a whole backup you should also copy:
  The Image-Arena folder (default “C:\Programme\TomTec\Image-Arena 3”)
  The basic Database settings: (default: C:\Programme\MSDE\ImageArena30MSSQL$IMAGEARENA30\Data)

To backup non-archived studies make a security copy of the working archive. (Path see Server Manager)
